Dedicated to Promoting the Blues in Scotland

We need your help.

The European Blues Union has been set up where every country has its own mini website, its own representative and can enter one act to the annual European Blues Challenge. My problem is that they are lumping Scotland in with the UK as a whole and I think that Scotland as well as Wales and Ireland should have their own identity otherwise we are getting only one act from The UK rather than 4 as it should be.

I've set up a petition online demanding that Scotland gets its own identity, please take the time to sign it.

The link between The Blues and Scotland.

Blues Music and Scotland are inextricably linked together! This is not an idealistic concept to justify Scots playing Blues but rather a well supported statement. Jazz musician and Yale Professor of Music Willie Ruff has written an article on this very subject.
